Booking is simple and completely free. Just choose a time that suits you, show up to our Shoreditch academy near Old Street, and let our trainee barbers work their magic under expert supervision. Whether you're after a classic cut, a skin fade, or a tidy-up, this is a great opportunity to get a quality haircut while helping the next generation of London's barbers build their confidence and skills.

Our barber students need real clients to practise on — it's as simple as that. In return, you get a quality haircut at no cost, as often as you like. Every session is supervised by experienced tutors, so you're in safe hands throughout.

We're open Monday to Friday from 11am. Last appointments are at 3pm (2pm on Fridays). We're closed Sundays and bank holidays.

Yes, but only barber-style cuts — think short back and sides, fades, and similar styles. If you're not sure what a barber cut involves, a hairdresser is likely a better fit for you.

Allow between 30 minutes and an hour. Students are learning, so they work more carefully and methodically than an experienced barber, and may need to pause for assessments as part of their course. On a typical day you'll be in and out without too much fuss.

Please arrive on time. Late arrivals may not be seated if we're busy, as it creates delays for everyone else. No-shows result in a ban — if you can't make it, simply cancel or reschedule online in advance. You're in full control of your booking.

In over 14 years with around 30 clients a day, it's happened only three or four times — so the chances are very slim. The most common causes are fidgeting, sudden movements, and arriving hungover, so please stay still when asked, especially around the ears and during a shave. Avoid chewing gum too, as it moves your jawline more than you'd think. Students can be nervous, so relax and let them focus — our tutors are always on hand, and all equipment is fully sanitised. Cuts and nicks are rare, and we do everything we can to make your visit a great one.
